【摘要】:Thisguideprovidesguidanceforusingradiofrequency(RF)wirelesscommunicationtechnologiesforISO/IEEE11073point-of-care(PoC)medicaldevicesthatexchangevitalsignsandothermedicaldeviceinformationusingsharedinformationtechnology(IT)infrastructure.Usecasesspecifictothesetechnologiesareevaluated,andkeyfunctionalandperformancecriteriaareidentified,includingqualityofservice(QoS)management,privacyandsecurity,coexistencewithotherRFwirelesstechnologies,environmentalrequirementssuchaselectromagneticinterferenceandcompatibility(EMI/EMC),andpowermanagement.Guidelinesareprovidedforeachoftheseareas.Technologiesinclude,butarenotlimitedto,theIEEE802.11?andIEEE802.15?technologies.Usecaseenvironmentsincludetraditionalclinicalsettingsaswellaspersonal(homeandmobile)healthcare.Theintentofguideistobeglobalwithrespecttowirelessspectrumandequipment,althoughworkinggroupparticipationandexpertisehavefavoreddetailofscenariosfromtheUnitedStates.Importantly,thisguidewillnotbeperiodicallyupdated,butinsteadwillactasasourceofinformationforfollow-onISO/IEEE11073RFwirelesstransportstandardsthatwillsupersedeit.TheseISO/IEEE11073RFwirelesstransportstandardswilldetailtheuseofspecificwirelessnetworkedtechnologyforthepurposeoftransportingmedicaldata.PeriodicupdateswillbeperformedontheISO/IEEE11073standardsonly.
