【摘要】:ThispartofISO4491specifiesamethodforthedeterminationoftherelativelossofmasswhichametallicpowderundergoeswhenheatedinastreamofpuredryhydrogenunderspecifiedconditions.Thepurposeofthistestistoevaluateachemicalpowdercharacteristicwhichisofimportancetothepowdermetallurgicalindustry.Thetestisnotintendedasameansforthedeterminationofthecontentofspecificelements.(SeeannexAandISO4491-1.)Thetestmethodisapplicabletounalloyed,partiallyalloyedandcompletelyalloyedpowdersofthemetalslistedintable1(see6.1).Itisnotapplicabletolubricatedpowdersortomixturesofmetalpowders.Theresultscanbeinfluencedbythepresenceofreducible,oxidizableorvolatilemetals,metalloidsorcompounds(seeannexA).Theresultsobtainedonsuchpowdersshallbeusedwithcautionandtheirinterpretationshallbesubjecttoagreementbetweensupplieranduser.ThispartofISO4491shallbereadinconjunctionwithISO4491-1.
