【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandarddefinesthecharacteristicsof90mmOpticalDiskCartridges(ODC)withacapacityof640MbytesperCartridge.TheStandardspecifiesfiverelated,butdifferentimplementationsofsuchcartridges,viz.TypeR/WProvidesfordatatobewritten,readanderasedmanytimesoverthewholerecordingsurfaceofthediskusingthethermo-magneticandmagneto-opticaleffects.TypeDOWProvidesfordatatobewrittenandreadmanytimesoverthewholerecordingsurfaceofthedisk,usingthedirectoverwritethermo-magneticandmagneto-opticaleffectsrequiringasingleexternalmagneticfield.TypeP-ROMProvidesforapartofthedisksurfacetobeembossedbystampingorothermeans.Thispartofthediskisreadwithoutrecoursetothemagneto-opticaleffect.AllpartswhicharenotembossedprovidefordatatomeettherequirementsofTypeR/W.TypeP-DOWProvidesforapartofthedisksurfacetobeembossedbystampingorothermeans.Thispartofthediskisreadwithoutrecoursetothemagneto-opticaleffect.AllpartswhicharenotembossedprovidefordatatomeettherequirementsofTypeDOW.TypeO-ROMProvidesforthewholeofthedisksurfacetobeembossedandreproducedbystampingorothermeans.Thistypeofdiskisreadwithoutrecoursetothemagneto-opticaleffect.TypeR/WandTypeDOWarealsoreferredtoas"fullyrewritable",TypeP-ROMandTypeP-DOWas"partiallyembossed"andTypeO-ROMas"fullyembossed".ForeachType,thisInternationalStandardprovidesfor512-byteand2048-bytesectors.Allsectorsonadiskareofthesamesize.ThisInternationalStandardspecifies-theconditionsforconformancetestingandtheReferenceDrive;-theenvironmentsinwhichthecartridgesaretobeoperatedandstored;-themechanicalandphysicalcharacteristicsofthecartridge,soastoprovidemechanicalinterchangeabilitybetweendataprocessingsystems;-theformatoftheinformationonthedisk,bothembossedanduser-written;includingthephysicaldispositionofthetracksandsectors,theerrorcorrectioncodes,andthemodulationmethodused;-thecharacteristicsoftheembossedinformationonthedisk;-themagneto-opticalcharacteristicsofthedisk,enablingprocessingsystemstowritedataontothedisk;-theminimumqualityofuser-writtendataonthedisk,enablingdataprocessingsystemstoreaddatafromthedisk.ThisInternationalStandardprovidesforinterchangebetweenopticaldiskdrives.Togetherwithastandardforvolumeandfilestructure,itprovidesforfulldatainterchangebetweendataprocessingsystems.
