【摘要】:ThistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofPoisson'sratiofromtensiontestsofstructuralmaterialsatroomtemperature.Thistestmethodislimitedtospecimensofrectangularsectionandtomaterialsinwhichandstressesatwhichcreepisnegligiblecomparedtothestrainproducedimmediatelyuponloading.Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
