【摘要】:Thisfieldtestmethodissuitablefordeterminingtheupliftresistanceoftheroofingsystemasstatedinapplicablespecifications,biddocuments,orwhenrequiredbyotherauthoritieshavingjurisdiction.Thisfieldtestmethodisalsointendedtosupplementmeasurementoftheupliftresistanceperformanceofroofingsystemsasdeterminedunderlaboratoryconditions.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheresistanceofadheredmembraneroofingsystemstoupliftpressure.Itappliestoroofsystemswithorwithoutrigidboardinsulationorbaseply,whichareeitheradheredormechanicallyfastened,andfullyadheredmembranes.1.2Thistestmethodisintendedtobeusedasameasureoftheupliftresistanceoftheroofingsystem.Systemscontainingcoldadhesiveshallbeinplaceforthecuretimespecifiedbytheadhesivemanufacturertoobtainoptimumadhesionbeforeconductingthetest.Hot-appliedsystemsshallbepermittedtocooltonormalprevailingsurfacetemperaturesbeforeconductingthetest.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
